GUIDE - VILLAGE ENTRY

Entering a Village

When entering a user or user controlled village, to gain access to the village forum, you must do one of two things. A. Request Entry to the village, the Kage choosing whether or not to permit you entry. If you are allowed access, you will be added to the corresponding village's guest group, usually temporary, but possibly for a long turn duration if for example you are allied with the village. If you are refused, then there is nothing you can do. Save Break in instead. Breaking in is the act of attempting to covertly enter the village. Far more risky, it's success rate is effected by the Shinobi's Rank and their level with the Assassin Skill. Typically, Shinobi use permission to enter. In either case, you are to post the said topic at the village gate. Usually, it is best to identify the topic in some special way- Say, giving it a color and adding "Request" Or "Guest" in the title. In the case of a Break in, "Break" or "Break In" is probably best. One thing is important, however- While Shinobi may be removed from a Guest group, if they are currently RPing in the forum or entered the village and have not yet RPed leaving, the Kage may NOT remove them- Doing so will result in punishment to the Kage.

Breaking In

At times, whether for a Mission or simply wanting to get after having the door closed on you, a Shinobi must use the art of stealth to enter. In these cases, the Assassin Ability Skill becomes your best friend. Breaking In uses a chance system which uses a base chance of being caught, which is lowered by the Assassin Level and the Ninja's rank. The base roll for a Genin is 75% chance of getting caught, which in turn, obviously means a 25% chance of entering the village without being noticed. For each Rank after Genin level(E), the chance of getting caught goes down by 5%. In the case of a C-rank Shinobi, a Chunnin would have 65% chance of getting caught.

SO,

E- 75%
D- 70%
C- 65%
B- 60%
A- 55%
S- 50%

Ninjas with the Assassin Skill, however, will get a further bonus. For each level of Assassin, a Ninja will get a further -10% chance of getting caught. For example, a B-rank ninja with Lv.3 Assassin will have a total of 30% chance of getting caught. Thus, the max, would be an S-rank Ninja with Master Level Assassin, having only a 10% chance of getting caught.

A ninja who succeeds will be granted access to the village, having no chance of being caught unless he does a particularly suspicious action. (For example, blowing up a house or trying to open a Kage's safe.) A ninja who fails to break in will be forced into an RP with the village's PC.(Or equal to the break in's group if there are more then one.) These Ninjas will be unable to RP immediate escape(As in no instant teleports, even Hirashin), whether outside of the village nor within. Death is quite the possibility. This does not mean they can for example, leap of the Gate wall and make a run for it- The infiltrate simply can't "Vanish", making him essentially impervious to attack.

Furthermore, a Ninja may not attempt a Break in more then once a week on the same village. This week occurs after the RP of the first break is done, NOT when the Break-in was begun.

Rolling

A 1-100 Dice roll will be done to determine whether or not the Shinobi is caught when infiltrating. This roll may be done by the Kage or his Aide, or, if specifically requested in the topic, may be done by an Admin. Any great suspicion of Kage or Aide fixing the number will result in punishment as well- For that reason, Admins may be called in to roll- But not if the Kage or his Aide have already. The job of an Admin is NOT to reroll because of a bad number. Essentially, the roll will go with any number equal to a Ninja's chance of being caught or less will be considered being found. Anything greater is presumed to be safe. Thus, for a Genin, Seventy-Five to the number one being rolled would mean caught during break in- Meanwhile, seventy-six to one hundred would be safe. This applies in all cases.

Note: New rules may be updated at all time so, pay attention to this topic once in awhile.
